Gepostet am 06.

The Sevierville Police Department has been given 100 PPE masks and suits after placing second in the “Pay It Forward” national contest. The donation is part of Aftermath’s ongoing commitment to recognize and showcase the efforts of first responders and essential services employees during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Aftermath (Aftermath.com) is the nation’s leader in crime scene cleanup and biohazard remediation. They are proud of their ongoing efforts in eradicating this deadly virus and continuing their mission of helping families stay safe and healthy.

The SPD produced a video last month showing the precautions that officers and staff were taking to stay safe during the COVID-19 pandemic and submitted it to Aftermath for consideration in the contest. The video was posted on the department’s Facebook page and reached over 18,000 people. Click here to watch the video.

“We want to thank Aftermath for their support of our department and their support nationally for law enforcement,” said SPD Chief Joseph Manning. “The PPE they donated will help keep our officers safe so that we can continue to serve and protect our community.”
